Even Now

A bit of poetry...

I hold in my hand something new
Always one to search for all things true
I find myself scarred and scared by its truth

I see behind you things that appear old
Always one to search for all things true
now missing the magic of lies told

A division of life so true it lies
waiting for the perfect moment
to tear you from all you know
to keep you away from what you desire
to light a fire
to give you passion
to give you a fight
to give you a reason
to live your life

If it were easy, it wouldn't be fun. So run with it, don't let it run you.

...

What is it about losing a loved one that can make even the strongest minds question everything; From the simplest observation like an individuals choice in shoeware to the most complex of questions: Did I live my life right or am I happy? As children there is no comprehention of the larger picture so happiness is subjective and is simplified into if I'm not bored, I'm happy. As adults not being bored doesn't necessarily mean happiness; even if we are happy for the moment. Happiness becomes an aspiration that must be worked towards, but for some reason few can actually claim happiness as a current state because the larger picture is an ever present source of uncertainty. A child is content for the moment because certainly it is the job of the society housing the child to assure its happiness. Adults may be content but become easily discontented by thoughts of the uncertain future as society becomes less concerned with that individuals happiness and more concerned wih the next generation. If you're lucky, You will be an established figure in society when it turns away from you watching, from a distance, as you sink or swim on your own. What does this have to do with bull shtick productions? I don't really know, but maybe, for the purposes of a little certainty, I can offer some advice. Remove yourself from the larger picture. Are you happy right now? If yes, let that be your comfort. Happiness can exsist in uncertainty. If no, re-evaluate where you are right now. Change your sitting position, smile, or call a friend. Quick fixes don't last but can lead to some temporary clarity. Temporary clarity will show that there is always a fix, quick or not, answers exsist. Find them. Also, production is starting soon on the sitcom. Shtick around.
